Hello! My name is Emmalie Meyer and I am thrilled to be here for my third year at Gateway! This will be my fifth year teaching 5th Grade, and my tenth year teaching overall. I am so grateful to call Gateway home. I believe school should be a “home away from home”, where anyone who walks through our doors feels safe, loved, and encouraged. It is my goal, and honor to create a warm, inviting, safe, and joyful classroom where students can thrive and grow this year.

I was raised here in Granite Bay and moved back right after graduating from Biola University in southern California. At Biola University, I completed my credential program and received my BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in human development.

Currently, I live in Cameron Park with my husband. We have an older home and love working on DIY house projects together. When we aren't working on the house, our favorite summertime activities are listening to live music, paddleboarding, golfing, and BBQing in the backyard with friends and family.

I am so grateful to be a part of the Rocklin Academy Gateway family and am looking forward to connecting with all of the amazing families, staff, and students that make this place a wonderful home away from home!
