Hello Rocklin Academy Gateway Families! My name is Krisi Boyle, and I am very excited to be teaching at Rocklin Academy Gateway for my eleventh year! I am looking forward to another wonderful year in kindergarten!  My love for working with young students has kept me in the field of education for over 30 years.

 

 

I graduated from San Jose State University with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development. I worked in the early childhood education field for over 20 years as a preschool teacher, supervisor, and mentor. I also spent several hours volunteering in elementary school classrooms for my sons’ teachers. Most recently, I earned my master’s degree and CA multiple-subject teaching credential from the University of Phoenix.

 

 

I have taught first grade, transitional kindergarten, kindergarten, and have been a substitute teacher in many classrooms and grade levels. Each day that I teach, I look forward to learning something new from my students. Young students, especially, amaze me with their wonder, curiosity, and eagerness to learn!

 

 

I have been married for 28 years and have three amazing sons, ages 27, 25, and 19, and have two beautiful granddaughters.    As a family, we enjoy camping, day visits to Folsom Lake, and simply enjoying the rare moments when all boys are home together!
