Home

Hello! My name is Tammy Sisenglath and I am so grateful to have found a second home with Rocklin Academy Gateway! I moved to the Rocklin area a few years ago with my growing family and I have never been happier. I am originally from San Jose, where my family is still located and we get the best of both worlds.

I have a BA in Child and Adolescent development from San Jose State and my masters in Teaching from San Francisco University along with a multi-subject credential. I have been teaching for thirteen years now and have loved my unique experiences ranging from preschool through fourth grade. I have learned so much from my time in private school, public school, and now have found my happy place at our public charter!

My husband, Brady, is a sushi chef and we absolutely love exploring the area for great food and dining experiences. We have a preschooler who will start at Gateway for the 2024-2025 school year and a baby girl arriving any day now! With these big family changes, I am excited to take on a new role teaching the ELD curriculum and supporting the learning of all students. I look forward to working with an array of students that will benefit greatly from the small group instruction and cannot wait to work together as we continue exploring our new CKLA curriculum!

Cheers to an incredible 2024-2025 school year to come!
