Hello! My name is Tammy Sisenglath and I am so grateful to have found a second home with Rocklin Academy Gateway! I moved to the Rocklin area a few years ago with my little family unit and I have never been happier. I am originally from San Jose, where my family is still located and we get the best of both worlds.

 

I have a BA in Child and Adolescent development from San Jose State and my Masters in Teaching from San Francisco University along with a multi-subject credential and I recently completed my coursework for my Administrative Credential in June 2025. I have been teaching for fourteen years now and have loved my unique experiences ranging from preschool through fourth grade. I have learned so much from my time in private school, public school, and now have found my happy place at our public charter! 

 

My husband, Brady, is a sushi chef and we absolutely love exploring the area for great food and dining experiences. We have a preschooler who will be in TK at Gateway for the 2025-2026 school year and a very busy 1 year old baby girl at home. With these big family changes, I am thrilled to be on the fourth grade teaching team this school year and look forward to taking on new challenges together.
