My name is Cathleen Schreier. I am going into my 10th year teaching transitional kindergarten at Rocklin Academy Gateway. The past 9 years have been such a wonderful experience, I cannot wait to see what 2026-2027 will bring!

 

I earned an AA degree and child development certification from Santa Rosa Junior College. I received a BA from Sonoma State University, and my multiple subjects teaching credential from Cal State Teach. Prior to joining  Rocklin Academy Gateway, I worked as a teacher and director of a Montessori preschool for 15 years.

 

I moved to Rocklin 9 years ago from the bay area. My family and I love Rocklin!  I have four children: my stepson who is 32, my daughter who is 20, my son who is 17 and my youngest daughter who is 15 and a dog, Lani. In my spare time I like to travel, read, paddleboard, and boat on the lake or relax on the beach. I look forward to getting to know your family!
