Hello, my name is Karin Georgeson, and I am proud to be entering my 10th year at Gateway. This year, I am honored to serve our school community as Assistant Principal and look forward to partnering with our students, families, and staff to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired. 

I grew up in Minnesota and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. Throughout my career, I have served as a classroom teacher, physical education teacher, athletic director, instructional coach, and administrator. Each of these experiences has strengthened my passion for supporting students and empowering educators.

My husband and I have three boys and are proud grandparents of two. Our family enjoys spending time together watching sports and grilling by our backyard pool!  In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, staying active, and spending time with my family.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Gateway community and look forward to partnering with you to make this an outstanding school year.
