Hello! I’m Catherine Niedzwiecki, and I’m so excited to continue supporting the amazing students and staff at Rocklin Academy Gateway as an Enrichment Support Specialist. I’ve been proud to be part of this community for several years and love helping students grow, explore, and thrive through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

I’ve always had a passion for teaching. From a young age, I enjoyed tutoring, babysitting, and teaching swim lessons, which inspired me to pursue a career in education. I earned my BA in Liberal Studies from CSU Chico and my teaching credential from CSU East Bay. Most recently, I completed my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from CSU Bakersfield and received my Reading and Literacy Authorization.

My teaching journey began in Oakland, where I spent six years teaching 2nd through 4th grade. In 2014, my family and I moved to Placer County, and I became a founding teacher at Rocklin Academy Gateway. I taught 4th and 5th grade for seven years before moving into my current role, which I absolutely love.

Outside the classroom, I’m a proud Rocklin Academy parent—both of my children attend school here! Our family enjoys hiking, crafting, exploring the community, and all things Disney. Whether we’re building a dollhouse or planning our next magical vacation, we love making memories together.

I believe every child can succeed with the right support and environment. My goal is to create a positive, inclusive space where students are excited to learn and feel confident taking on new challenges. I look forward to another fantastic year of learning and growing together!
