My name is Shannon Lang, and this is my twelfth year teaching at Rocklin Academy Gateway. I’ve been an educator for 18 years, teaching 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades—and I’ve truly loved every minute of it! I am a passionate educator who values collaboration and enjoys working closely with students, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
I earned my B.A. in Organizational Communication from California State University, Sacramento, and went on to receive my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Chapman University.
I live in Roseville with my husband of 16 years, Brandon, and our three wonderful sons: Henry (7th grade), Jack (9th grade), and our youngest, Benjamin, who is 2 years old. My two oldest boys attended Rocklin Academy Gateway for their elementary years. I proudly embrace life as a “boy mom”! As a family, we stay active and love spending time outdoors—whether it’s biking, exploring parks, attending local events, or skiing in Tahoe during the winter months. I’m also an avid reader and enjoy relaxing with a good book or a great movie.
I’m excited for another successful and memorable year ahead!
