About Me

My name is Sheridan Peters, and I am excited to be teaching 1st grade. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Saint Mary's College of California and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential through CalStateTEACH. I am passionate about creating a classroom where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn each day. I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of learning, and I strive to help every student grow academically, socially, and emotionally. In our classroom, we focus on being respectful, responsible, and resourceful while building confidence and a love of learning. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors, snowboarding, wakeboarding, practicing yoga, and going on adventures with my dog. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth together!
