Hello! My name is Becky Neher, and I am thrilled to be returning to Gateway for the 25-26 school year! This will be my 12th year teaching, and my 9th year at Rocklin Academy Gateway. I was a founding teacher here at our school, but took a little detour for a few years to adventure to another state with my family. During that time, I had the opportunity to work as an academic coordinator for Math and Science, and even teach middle school Math. I returned to Gateway last year to take on the new adventure of teaching 6th grade. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it and am excited to continue!

I attended Sacramento State for my undergraduate degree in Art History, and shortly after, I decided that teaching was my true passion, so I returned to school to earn my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Just a few years ago, I returned to school to pursue my Master's in Educational Leadership from Eastern Washington University. My career and educational experience have made me appreciate the special environment we have here at Gateway, and I’m proud to be a Gator!
