Bio
Welcome to first grade! My name is Miranda Woolley and I am so excited to be starting my second year of teaching here at Gateway. My goal as an educator is to create a classroom community filled with positivity, inclusivity, creativity, and respect. I have a strong belief that every student is capable of meeting and exceeding their goals both academically and personally, and I can't wait to partner with you to support and celebrate your child's growth! I'm committed to working with you and your child so that everyone feels heard, seen, and supported throughout the school year.
I grew up in the area attending local schools and spending my free time as a competive cheerleader. After graduating from Whitney High School, I moved to Southern California where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Elementary Education from California State University, Fullerton in 2022. Continuing my journey to becoming an educator I continued my education at CSUF and earned my teaching credential along with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2023. After graduation I packed my bags and moved back to Lincoln and started my teaching career at our amazing school!
I am looking forward to having another fantastic year!
