About me!

Hi! I'm Mrs. Bishop (formerly Miss Woolley) and I am thrilled to be entering my 3rd year teaching in 3rd grade! I previously taught 1st grade the last two years here at Gateway. I have a strong belief that every student is capable of meeting and exceeding their goals both academically and personally, and I can't wait to partner with you to support and celebrate your child's growth! I'm committed to working with you and your child so that everyone feels heard, seen, and supported throughout the school year. 

 

I grew up in the area attending local schools. After graduating from Whitney High School, I moved to Southern California where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Elementary Education from California State University, Fullerton in 2022 and continued my education at CSUF by earning my teaching credential along with a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2023. After graduation I packed my bags and moved back to Lincoln with my now husband and started my teaching career at our amazing school! 

 

I am looking forward to having another fantastic year and looping with students who had me or know me from 1st grade! :)
