Hello, I'm Katie Viens, and I'm proud to be part of the Gateway Gator community as an Education Specialist entering my fourth year of teaching. My work in special education is driven by a deep belief that every student is capable of growth and that with the right support, tools, and environment, each one can reach new personal bests.

I'm passionate about blending evidence-based instruction with innovative approaches, including integrating technology to make learning more accessible and engaging for all students. I love finding creative ways to meet students where they are and help them build real confidence in their abilities.

As an Education Specialist, I'm committed to building an inclusive, adaptive learning community where students feel known, challenged, and supported. I look forward to partnering with families and colleagues to make every school year one our students will look back on with pride.
