Bio

Hello Families,

My name is Laura Hamblett and I teach first grade here at Rocklin Academy Gateway. I started teaching in 2001 in Marin County, CA.  I have taught almost every elementary grade over the years and I love the early elementary grades the most!

Two years ago my family relocated to Roseville and we are enjoying our new life here. We have 5 kids and a labradoodle named Teddy Graham Crackers.  Our oldest recently graduated from Bennington College in Vermont. We have one starting college at Fresno State in August and three at home.  One, a sophomore at Woodcreek High School and two (twins) in eighth grade at Cooley Middle School. It’s a busy life but the best one I could have imagined for us. I look forward to meeting you and your student in August.
