Hi! My name is Mrs. Pugliese and I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade teacher again this year! This will be my third year at Rocklin Academy Gateway. In the past seven years I have also taught in 2nd and 5th grade but 3rd grade is my favorite!
I am originally from Santa Rosa, CA where I attended Sonoma State University. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Marine Biology and then went on to get my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential.
My husband, Zander, and I got married in June 2022 and moved out to Rocklin two summers ago. This past year we bought our first home in Auburn and adopted an energetic puppy named Rory. We love to go out and explore new restaurants, hiking trails, festivals, and farmers markets. I also love traveling and spending time with my friends and family.
I can't wait for another great year! I am excited to meet with your family and make amazing connections with your kids. My goal in my classroom is to make this a safe place for everyone to be able to work through challenges and struggles, while celebrating all of our successes.
