Hi! I am Jessica Iman and this is my 6th year teaching at Rocklin Academy Gateway but my 15th year teaching overall. I am so excited to begin another year in 5th grade!

My husband, Paul, and I have been married for 6 years and have a little boy, Bennett, who is 2  and a little girl, Harper, who is 1. Our hands are definitely full but we are loving being parents and learning as we go. Our family loves the outdoors and are avid campers, backpackers, and hikers. 

I received my bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State in 2010 and then attended San Francisco State, where I earned my teaching credential in 2011. I love teaching and I could not imagine doing anything else. I believe that all students are unique and should have an educational environment where they can grow physically, emotionally, and socially. It is my hope to be able to create an atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I can not wait to meet my families and begin working with students to make their 5th grade year the best!
