Personal Biography

Welcome.

My name is Mrs. Dana Fucci. I am the Education Specialist for lower elementary students, TK-2nd grades at Gateway, and TK-5th grades at American River. I, with my amazing team, support students with learning challenges. 

I encourage all parents to read with their child/children every night. This promotes growth of their vocabulary and reading ability, and sets them up for success.

 

About me: I am a mom of two grown girls. Both had their own challenges with school that I felt weren't being addressed. This is what led me to become a Special Ed teacher. Many studies and discoveries have happened since they were children. I utilize these findings with my students every day.
