Hello there! My name is Kayla and I am thrilled to be joining the Rocklin Academy Gateway family this year! This year will be my fourth year teaching 5th grade. I am excited to continue working with this grade level.

 

I received my bachelors in Child Development and my Multi-Subject Teaching Credential at Sacramento State. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of grade levels but have really found my heart in 5th grade! I love building strong relationships within our classroom that foster a safe and open learning environment.

 

Though I grew up in Roseville and Rocklin, my husband and I recently moved our family to Foresthill. We were dreaming of more land, a place for our son to run around, and lots of animals. We couldn’t be happier with the decision! Our little farm currently consists of our two dogs, goats, chickens, and a pig. When I’m not at school, I love to spend time with the family outdoors.
